Our Calling
Our mission is to build a strong local church by building families, leaders, and servants and to advance the kingdom of God by proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ to all peoples in our community, our city, and the nations to the glory of God.
Our vision is to be a living and growing multi-ethnic, multi-site community of followers of Jesus Christ who radiate his truth and love to our city and the world. We see ourselves as a vibrant, growing, multi-ethnic community of followers of Jesus Christ who are loving Jesus and sharing Jesus everywhere.
What We Value and Believe
Our values and beliefs communicate at the most basic and foundational level what is important to us as a church. In addition, they provide the groundwork for our mission and vision and are derived from the scriptures which is the Word of God.
Lead Pastor
Dr. Mark and Marla Strong
Dr. Mark and Marla serve as the Lead Pastors of Life Change Church. They are leaders who are in love with one another, their family, the church and most of all the Lord Jesus Christ. Mark and Marla Strong have been married for thirty-seven years and have four children, Micah, Michelle, McKenzie and Myles. Shortly after they were married they became the Pastors of Life Change. They have served as the Lead Pastors of Life Change Church since 1988.

Cathy Rhodes
Administrator
Cathy serves as the Administrator of our church. She has deep love for Jesus and enjoy serving others. She oversees our Worklife ministry.
Pastor Jerrell Waddell
Executive Pastor
Pastor Jerrell serves as the Executive Pastor and an Elder. He is passionate about the Jesus, his church and our community. He and his wife have three children.
Pastor Bernis Dorsey
Elder
Pastor Dorsey is a beloved Elder in our church. His years of dedication to God, and his wisdom is a great blessing to the Life Change Family. He and his wife have four children and several grand children.
Pastor Barbara Perry
Prayer Pastor
Pastor Barbara serves tirelessly and faithfully as the prayer leader of Life Change. Her passion is to connect people to God, in order for their lives to be transformed.
Pastor Dyon Spencer
Young Adult and Youth Pastor
Pastor Dyon works with the young adults and youth. His passion is to see those he serves develop a deeper passion for Jesus and his word and develop healthy and godly community.
Dorcas Smith
Worship Leader
Dorcus is the Worship Leader at Life Change Church. Her contagious passion for worshipping the Lord and her wonderful musical skills are instrumental in leading the hearts of Jesus followers closer to their Savior. Her leadership and the worship team's dedication creates an atmosphere of reverence and joy, enhancing the overall worship experience for the congregation.
